The parallels of New Orleans to Baghdad are striking
Helicopters getting shot at.
The good people of New Orleans (Baghdad) being preyed upon by criminals (terrorists).
Security issues (terrorists) preventing getting levies repaired (making reconstruction difficult).

There are many more, I'm sure. The marketing scheme that is the War In Iraq is being laid bare for anyone paying attention.

3. Forget Baghdad
I think we've reached the level of Mogadishu, Somalia. And if things don't get better, we're down to Kigali, Rwanda. :(
