Koppel to FEMA director: "Don't you guys watch television?" |
|
Oh, how I love seeing the MSM finally refusing to accept the lies -- in this case, Brown's claim to be ignorant of the crisis at the convention center.

5. Baghdad Brown has his head up his ass so far it's surprising he can talk. |
|
Absolutely EVERY answer was self-serving. Every one. It's the same in absolutely every interview. That fuckhead is a P/R flack, not a manager and CERTAINLY not an executive.

6. Brown: People in convention center are being fed |
|
Ted: NO THEY ARE NOT!
Brown: Superdome, I mean the Superdome
Ted: But they WENT TO THE CONVENTION CENTER because YOU told them they'd be taken care of THERE!

7. Everybody should watch tonight's episode of Nightline |

The FEMA director didn't have any good answers. Ted wanted to know what HAD been done to help the victims of the hurricans, and the FEMA guy kept talking about what was being done. Ted kept interrupting him and talking about the things that HADN'T been done. The hurricane struck five days ago, and they haven't accomplished reasonable goal since then. They didn't do enough before the hurricane struck. There was no evacuation plan. There was no infrastructure in place to deliver the life necessities that the victims deserve. These people have lost everything. They have lost their homes. They have lost all of their personal posessions. They have lost their jobs. Many of them have lost loved ones. They have no food. They have no water. They have no medicine. They need diapers. They need clean clothes. They need soap, they need toilets, and they need showers. They need their dignity, and nobody is doing enough to help them reclaim it.
