2. Good
this needs to be hammered.

This hurricane didn't exactly sneak up on us. They're not that stealthy.

3. greyhound, school buses, anything with seats, boats, everything. all the
cars in the dealerships, too-- that way the people and the vehicles just might have been out of harm's way.

12. Planes! Why didn't the airlines fly people out? Oh that's right,
because they didn't want to fly empty planes in. This after they got huge bailouts after 9/11. Oh but those needing to fly out probably aren't frequent fliers! :grr:

6. One of the saddest images I've seen during this
Is a picture of a fleet (like 40) flooded school buses in N.O. ..... there were 40 school buses sitting in a yard when the evacution order was issued, the 40 school buses were still sitting there after the flood.

9. Because there are two Americas. One for people with the resources
to evacuate and one that doesn't have the resources, and we let them die.

10. It's about time they're asking this
I'm so sick of seeing pictures of the elderly and disabled stranded in NO without anyone posing that question in the MSM. Some people were housebound (sick or elderly) before the hurricane. Not eveyone drives! Not every driver got out in time! Some were stuck in stalled traffic and were ordered to return to NO to brace for the storm. Airlines cancelled their flights and all rental cars were gone. How could an evacuation order be given without evacuation assistance. HOW could people have been left behind?! The media needs to ask this over and over and over, again!!!!

11. Because some evil arab ran through the Pentagon with a big huge
magnet and erased all their electronic files & brain-trust on the escalating cycle of mob violence when there is a law & order vacuum. They didn't know. In fact..they feel like victims.

15. You know these people at FEMA ...
The reporters say this stuff, and they look like they're having an internal monologue, "Hey, airlifts of water! That's a good idea! Hey, buses stocked with food and water! That's a great idea!"

Does anyone that works there have a BRAIN??!!
