6. "I should be there."
"I know the neighborhoods.
I know the main routes, and the alternative routes.
I know the community.
I grew up with a basic understanding of the levee system.
I hope my family is okay.
I hope they have enough water & food.
I hope they're dry.
I hope they're alive."

8. I hope they haven't been experiencing the worst of the worst in
Iraq... Seeing their government sell their own families and people out-- letting them die through pure neglect and incompetence--combined with a little PTSD, will surely have some going postal once they come back.

I just don't know what to say. I'm so ashamed of my country right now....

9.  A LA Nat'l Guard soldier said he would "rather be in Iraq" than NO
The news used his name and everything---said that he "would rather be in Iraq"-- that at least there they would have protection from the crowds and get 3 meals a day (then he listed a few other things that I cannot think of right now).

Bet he will be getting a one way ticket to Iraq by lunchtime tomorrow, compliments of chimp's people.
