FEMA--If you still need help after one week we promise to get right on it. National Guard --now reflagged as the National Guard of Iraq.
Until we change our government--and maybe even the kind of country we are--and restore the 2 above mentioned institutions, we are terribly terribly on our own if/when shit happens.
I used to believe Americans were one big team when the going got rough, but now I see that was just bullshit from a Frank Capra movie. America is 3 countries inside one border, the top 2 shoving away from each other and the lower as hard as they can.
