Our Houston local news just reported that a Red Cross volunteer |

there are not enough people (volunteers) to help with the NOLA refugees. He also said they ran out of hot meals and they won't be delivered until in the morning. But they do have fruit, water, soft drinks.

And now there isn't enough? Geeze. I guess I should put some clothes on now and go volunteer right now at the dome huh? :shrug:

and the population was 1/2 million, that 1/3 is a WHOLE lot of people, and there are more than just in N.O. It takes a national government to get people down there and to coordinate things.. They are sitting back and waiting for the "private sector" to do the heavy lifting, so they can save the fema money for themselves..what's not given out, they will find a way to divert.
