Fats Domino Is Missing in New Orleans
Unfuckingbelievable!

Fats Domino was missing Thursday, days after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, said his longtime agent, Al Embry. Embry told The Associated Press that he hadn't been able to contact Domino since talking to him Sunday evening by phone.

5. What I read indicated that he was identified by a rescue photo

taken Monday but that no one knows where he is currently (and by implication, whether he is still safe). Folks from his neighborhood were sent to the Astrodome after being rescued - given the current situation there I would not be confident that a relative of mine sent there was "safe.

Fats missing in NOLA would be of the same irony as Don Ho missing in Honolulu, or Wayne Newton missing after a calamity in Vegas.
