How Many Veterans think the Military has the ability to do more... |

for Hurricane Victims. I was an Engineer in the Marine Corps. I saw some Tent Cities go up quickly. I know there are thousands of old GP tents just laying around in warehouses along with crates of MRE's. I don't believe all the Water purification equiptment is in Iraq.
Bush Should have kicked some ass at the Pentagon and Made something happen Day One.

I'm from New Orleans.
We both think that the handling of this disaster has been horrible. The government's relief & security forces should've been staged outside of New Orleans, ready to infiltrate the city immediately after Katrina left. Drops of food, water, and lifejackets should have also been ready to go.
