A hurrcaine blew down New Orleans
Where the levees were all that could hold back the waves in

Katrina blew up the waves and the Levee break
I asked why no help in a dark water voice I found out
funds were cut for NOLA

Well I’m not the world’s most physical guy
But when I saw the dome crack and the babies die I cried for NOLA!

Well I’m not dumb but I can't understand why
Bush won't help the people dying in the stands

Well Bush drank champagne and he danced all night
bathed in that birthday candlelight
He Ignored national tragedy
With deliberate cruelty and travesty
I know he's not the world’s most genuine guy
But when I look in his eyes on the TV screen,he looks like a lizard and I almost screamed ..

I pushed down all my tears
I picked up the phone
I felt so alone
I fell down on my knees
When I realized the people on TV could be me!

Bush is a bully so the victims will be blamed
IN this mixed up fucked up world gone insane,
along with NOLA

I felt like the country's gone out the back door
because I’d never believe it would get so bad before
Still NOLA fell and they need a hand
But the government won't help them to land

I’m not the world’s most powerful man
But I know what evil is and I Understand
So does NOLA
