The California fire district people have rescued over 2000 people |
|
One of them from a fire district was just interviewed for the news on KGO radio (during Bernie Ward's program).
He said that they have teams of 14 people to a team. I think he said they have 8 teams. Over the past 2 days, they've rescued 2k people.
He also said that they'll be able to start up again tomorrow if they can get an armed guard as it's dangerous for them to go into some of the areas where there has been violence. He sounded anxious to get back in again and back to saving stranded people.
