Perhaps the AWOL police in NO are not able to report for duty because |
|
they have had their homes blown away by Katrina and they are in the same boat as the people who are stranded in parts of the city and are unable to get to work?????....I have heard several times that quite a few police officers have not shown up for duty....Perhaps that is the explanation, rather than they are AWOL!

1. You'd think that would be self evident. |

2. Some handed in their badges. Some left with their families to ensure |
|
their security. I wouldn't have gone out on lawless streets with guns everywhere and no back-up? Hell - you get shot in leg and fall down and you drown.
Nobody should throw themselves into such danger when the Federal government doesn't give a shit and refuses to send in troops to keep their part of the law & order bargain.

5. You thinking about money? |
|
Instead of the reasons and conditions behind why they turned their badges?
That remark sounds like it belongs in that other BB that we won't mention. At least you spelled 'lose' correctly.
