That little girl in the blue shirt and pink shorts yelling; "Can someone help us?!"
Just tore my heart out :(
If you have not seen it, all news stations seem to show it at the top up the hour, in sort of a collage.

I've done it several times today. It's just hideous. All of it.

4. The 100 year old woman they showed last night was it for me... |
|
I'm in the process of researching my genealogy, developing a wonderful new respect for my elders and their stories, and their amazing lives.
And here was this poor old woman...I lost it. Just bawling my eyes out. She does not deserve to live out her last days in this fear and misery, surrounded by violence and death and disease.
God Damn these bastards to hell. FSC

I also do genealogy research, and it breaks my heart that the elderly are somehow part of the scenery for lots of people. The collective history that the faces of the elderly in the film I've seen represent is a lost and unappreciated treasure. This is a national disgrace.

5. There was no one specific event for me |
|
it was a mesh of events, everyone of them making me cry.
The woman holding the baby who wasn't responding.
The woman crying, pleading for help.
The one woman who gave her baby to someone.
Men talking about doing anything they could to feed their families.
Elderly people looking weak and fainting.
The dead body of a woman in her wheelchair outside the Convention Center.
I could go on.
