From Salon Tabletalk from a Ham op quote from 1st Responder |
|
I can't verify this and won't try.
I am the messenger, not the message.
Clifton Nelson - 03:14 am Pacific Time - Sep 2, 2005 - #1441 of 1442 AD ASTRA PER ASPERA.
This message is from Bob Nelson, a first-responder:
"For years, I have been warning people about what I call "tax maggots." Tax maggots put in a few minutes of time every day at the most and only know how to run their mouths. They are killing Katrina victims just as surely as if they locked them in some filthy prison with only diseased water and no food.
I have heard "We are protecting our police and National Guard resources against thugs in the center of the city." Huh? You aren't doing what with who?
What is their job -- to make scary faces?
I have not seen one goddamned mother-fucking small parachute of relief-supplies, let alone pallets of supplies accompanied by distribution workers.
The cops in the Super Dome have been reportedly working alongside the thieves -- because the thieves do know how to get things done, and the cops do not."
This post was made by an associate of Bob's, who just sent this in by single sideband on the ham bands, which have maintained contact with most, but not all, areas.

1. Would an unqualified GOP shill... |
|
...who spends his time talking about the "hard work" on FOX News rather than doing his friggin job count as a "tax maggot"? I sure think so.

2. Thanks for posting this info. |

This quote alone tells you of the lack of planning and forethought that has gone on in FEMA and Homeland Security. "I have not seen one god damned mother-fucking small parachute of relief-supplies, let alone pallets of supplies accompanied by distribution workers."
Where is all the money we have given to Homeland Security? Why wasn't it used to plan for a disaster?
