3. I tell you any response that doesn't make him look like "THE MAN" |
|
will not get his signature. HE IS A SOCIOPATH and he is doing what is pathology demands of him. IT IS ALL ABOUT HIM. The man has no capacity for empathy, let alone sympathy.

7. As long as he is surrounded by people who are unwilling |
|
to step forward and expose his illness, he will retain power. As long as people are willing to lie, cheat, steal, and do lord knows what else to shield him, he holds power. We need a patriot to step forward, and he's only surrounded by scoundrels.
Either that, or Congress needs to wrest some if its power back. I'd say hammer those sucker, especially the Rs.

4. UN man "we don't usually operate in industrialised countries" but |
|
America needs to ask for things that would be "added value" to whatever the US itself is doing.

6. US Embassy chap not persuasive |
|
"Everybody wishes we could do more".
His family is there but he knows that they are alright.
He thinks that the US is accepting all the help offered. He says that Rice made that clear yesterday.
"The country is coming together".
I am waiting for him to explain why, after 5 days, NO victims still have no drinking water.
His heart is breaking, too, he says when he sees those pictures but "I know that people are working as hard as they can".
OK, his job is safe.
