The various denominational charities, the Salvation Army, etc.

I will put in a word for one people don't think about often-the Mennonite organization. When tornados struck Highland Park, MI and parts of Detroit about 7 or 8 years ago, the Mennonites were there helping. They were still there helping 6 months later, when everyone else had left.
