What is the deal with this helicopter ride Bush is going on over NO? |
|
I don't see what the purpose is of the tour. Is he going to drop food, drinks, and medicine?
Is this supposed to be leadership?

3. I wish he would land, and let them pick his bones! |
|
He's too afraid to land because he knows those people HATE HIM!

8. He's known that for a long time. That's why every public contact is |
|
controlled and scripted.
That, more than anything else, makes him unfit for the job of President. He can't even play the ceremonial role of caring national father-figure and unifier.
What's the point of even wasting all that money on fancy WH jets, limos and helicopters?
Has Bush proven that America doesn't really need a President and Commander-in-Chief? Wouldn't we be better off with a committee government of Congressional leaders, Generals, Career Civil Service heads, and assorted worthies? All very bi-partisan and centrist, of course.
That's about the best we could hope for until there are major electoral reforms.

2. Think restricted airspace |
|
It will take longer for that to happen since the airspace will be restricted, all help will be suspended while he is there.

Bush may meet briefly with some selected officials at the NO Airport, buzz around at a safe altitude, and then fly off to Mississippi and hand out water bottles to Hailey Barber's constituents.
Hailey's being groomed as the replacement.

he wouldn't dare land in any place uncontrolled by his gestappo. Someone might just kill him. Do us a favor NO and see it through.
