Bush said his favorite phrase...
"A lot of people are working hard to help those who've been affected, and I want to thank the people for their efforts,"

He wouldn't know hard work if it bit him in the keister. And as for him saying the federal response has been unacceptable, maybe he should have thought of that before gutting FEMA and handing it off to a crony who knows nothing about running a disaster relief program!!

3. He can take his thanks and shove it where the sun don't shine.
Doesn't he understand that the best thing he can do is shut the hell up? After all his lies and platitudes since 9/11 he has no credibility. His assurances mean NOTHING.

4. Passing the blame as usual!
Why doesn't anyone ask him just why the federal response has been unacceptable? He says that as if it wasn't his responsibility and he shouldn't be held accountable? :banghead:

11. Here's my new favorite sentence that I made up:
"I'm lookin' forward to workin' hard and makin' progress for the folks."

Look at me, I'm a fancy presidential speechwriter.

Those people had better be fired. The whole lot of them. People get fired for being late to their shifts at Denny's for god's sake!
