2. Earlier they just played the part where he praises Bush for sending |
|
the Commander who is kicking asses. That was almost all of it.
If that is all they played of it we need to mass e-mail them and demand they play the entire interview.

Nagin's interview was badly needed. People need to hear that someone in charge cares. It is an added bonus that the someone in question is a Democrat. :D

Thanks so much for covering the real human tragedy that is going on in New Orleans.
I hope that you will show the interview of Mayor Nagin that is already making rounds on the Internet in its entirety, uninterrupted, so that people can see that there are some people in positions of power doing their best to help.
I also ask that you cover the budget cuts that the Bush Administration made to New Orleans' levee system engineering in order to fund his failed and unnecessary war in Iraq.
People must know that the destruction of New Orleans was preventable and hold those responsible accountable, or this kind of thing will happen again and again.

8. Wasn't praising Bush,IMO, but saying "Hey, you did one thing right" |
|
It seemed to me that the praise was for the "John Wayne type," as he phrased it, who was kicking some asses and getting things done.

11. The context was screwed up by just plucking a comment like that |
|
out. I heard it in its entirety only because of my computer.
Has it been aired in its entirety on many stations? I hope so.
