We can fight “door to door” in Iraq … but we afraid to go into New Orleans |
|
I need some help with understanding this.
We have brave and capable soldiers who demonstrated themselves abroad.
Why is it difficult to ask that we use our National Guard to provide cover for those who can help?
Do we only save other countries?

1. Great point--so obvious and clear. Hope the CM picks this up. |

3. Tom Lehrer nailed it, many decades ago |
|
Back in the 60s, Tom Lehrer (known for such songs as " Poisoning Pigeons in the Park", " Pollution" and " The Hunting Song") wrote " Send the Marines!", which observed: To the shores of Tripoli, / But not to Mississippoli, / What do we do? We send the Marines!
