A woman on CNN just said:
Looking out on her street, she said that there were 5 bodies on the street yesterday and this morning, there are 12 bodies. She said that people are dying now. That a woman had a baby last night but the baby did not make it.

7. The 2000 US Census
reported that there were 100,000 Households in New Orleans that did not have transportation. The Federal Government knew this and did nothing.

3. I heard something about 12 bodies last night on the police scanner
I wasn't sure if they meant dead or alive but maybe this has something to do with it.

5. I can't take this. I just don't understand. This is the USA?
Why? Why? But the politicians can stand around in their starched shirts and thank each other for the great job they are doing!

12. Only one woman's view on her street, how many other streets are there
just like this one? This has to be happening all over the city but are we hearing about it? Nope, time for the hard working * photo-op.
