do you hear this poor woman on the phone from there on CNN? This is tragic. A baby was born last night, people are dying as they speak

1. 12 dead. no water or food. cops show up w/o water, get shot at.
If they got 100 police officers there last night (per her report) why isn't there water & food?

4. This is beyond disgracefull
And I though that Chimpy created a new cabinet level department to keep us all safe. What was it called? Something about homeland....

The people at the convention center did everything they were supposed to. They were told to gather there.

5. I was hoping when I awoke this morning and watched the news
that the majority of the people would be on their way somewhere. I am  for those poor people. But I am here at work and people are passing my desk as if nothing is going on. I know there is nothing we can do anything about it but it saddens me that since this doesn't affect a lot of us, we just go on about our business. This could very well have been my city flooded. :-(
