Bush has finally jumped the shark. No doubt about it. |
|
There are regular posts of late where someone describes how a hard-core bushite finally sees the light. I'm always cheered by such a tale, because even one-by-one, every mind that awakens is an asset. But it's only a lonely few of a nation of sheep.
But I've witnessed a miracle. My brother, the ultimate ultra-right-wing freeper Rushbot actually questioned Bush yesterday. This is a Reagan Young Republican who all but worships Rush Limbaugh. He disdains anything liberal with an intensity of near hatred.
"You know, I'm a little irritated with something Bush said today." he mentioned in an offhand way.
I immediately thought that it was about time, since the bastard infuriates me every time he parts those smirking lips. But I wisely kept that to myself and responded: "Oh yeah? What was that?"
"He announced a zero tolerance policy toward looters in New Orleans. You know, some of those people are just desperate to feed their kids."
I wanted to shout and clap my hands, but I didn't want to spoil the first genuine thought he'd had in years. So I praised his cleverness and agreed in a number of ways. Then silently gloated. If that slimy piece of shit lost my Rushbot brother over this, then he has truly blown himself away. The sociopathic fuckstick is out in the open for all to see.
Fuck you George. You may finally begin getting what you deserve.

3. I'm sorry, but I've lost all faith in this country. They'll love Bush for |
|
"going in to comfort the people." You just watch. They'll blame FEMA, or the looters for keeping recuers out, or whatever, but they'll just love Bush for going into the flood zone and "comforting the people."
And I will throw up.
I have no faith that people will discern that Bush is ultimately responsible for this debacle, and that he farted around for a few days before finally noticing the whole country is going to hell in a handbasket. If the oil refineries weren't involved, he'd probably STILL be clearing brush on his alleged ranch.
The sheeple will love him, no matter what they're saying today.
Shame on them.

5. As bizarre as it may sound...your post gave me goosebumps! |
|
I am thrilled to hear that people are beginning to think for themselves. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that this imposter, posing as Leader of the Free World, has failed his people miserably. Again. It is inexcusable. No more! Get out, Shrub! Just go away quietly into the night.
Peace.

6. Its good some are waking up but... |
|
... the remaining followers are the scary heartless bastards. The ones who blame the people who didn't leave, clean house in the projects, etc. It will probably to get uglier I'm afraid. Bush might have started a race war. These people are showing their true hearts and its is scary. These post are coming from a Soap Opera Message Board, not hardcore freepers.

7. I've got a freeper story |
|
I've been having this on going discussion (all out war) with a freeper on another site. Usually we fight about the war in Iraq (surprise, surprise). It's been getting nasty with Bush's poll numbers tanking and all. He, like other freeky freeps, worship Bush and can't believe he would do anything wrong. Everything is liberal this, liberal that. Cindy Sheehan? She was a whore, brainwashed by "left-wing idiots."
Then yesterday, out of the clear blue he emails me. I thought it was a nasty letter or something. You know what he wrote me?
"Bush should resign...I wish I had voted for Kerry...Republicans are finished now." Why? Because of Katrina and Bush's response (or lack thereof).
This is absolutely 100% a true story. I was totally flabbergasted. I wrote him a nice email back. Although I usually have my guard up with him, and you can understand why. Today I spilled my heart out to him about why I think Bush is a disgrace and the worst President ever. Who knows, maybe we'll become friends.
America is waking up peeps.
