FEMA not allowed to aid gay families. Donate 2 Hurricane Katrina LGBT Fund

1. Wow. This needs to be publicized in a big way.
This needs to be on the lips of everybody who talks about relief, not only to help get relief to gay families, but to point out the larger injustice of the situation. This is just appalling.

2. Yeah, I'm sure they're not going to allow water, food, etc.
That is ridiculous - suppose their checking to see who is gay before they hand them water. Know there are some strange laws on the books of some of our States - New York fell into that category also for some things.
