1. Bush was getting briefed there? Did he not understand the enormity of the situation? Did he not know that people were dying? Five days later and he's getting briefed & he looks DISINTERESTED and DISENGAGED. To me, he looked bored or unable to comprehend what he was being told. More than anything I think the little toad was scared.

2. As Bush arrives so do supplies. Coincidence? I don't think so, it looks staged, like "Mission Accomplished". What bull hockey! What it did was help set up photo ops of * handing out bottled water (like he did last year with Jebby in Florida) to the hurricane victims. What was weird was that he was hugging a white woman. Where's all the minorities? Call me cynical but the timing is suspicious.

3. I called CNN and complained about their showing Operation Blessing's phone number without identifying it as Pat Robertson's organization.

4. WTF, why did Bush have his sleeves rolled up? With the downed trees around him he looked like he was back on the ranch. I half-expected him to don goggles and start chopping trees, just like he did on vacation.

Oh god, Pickles is yammering. Sounds like she's hopped up on happy pills.

Picles now is trying to take reporters questions, unlike her chickenhawk hubbie. I certainly don't agree with everything she says, but she at least gives more of an appearance of caring and is showing some guts to go in front of the camera.

2. i cannot take myself away from all of this

did you hear him say "don't worry, we'll get you some clothes from the salvation army" to the black girl he hugged for the camera op? can you imagine how fucking degraded she must feel? Laura is spewing shit now from the red cross center telling us how glad the kid who lost his mum is to be going to school in texas today?
yep pat robertson will get richer with this.
