New Meme: It's the MAYOR'S Fault!
Yep, that's what I've been reading all day long at various websites. Bush apologists have decided that "poor planning" was all the Mayor's fault and that the mayor didn't even "request" troops or "assistance" until yesterday. Unfuckingbelievable.

2. Large scale evacuation is not the mayor's job.
I'm sure he has a role in it, but ultimately it's FEMA's job.

4. Did Ya Notice That It Was A Big No...
no to talk about hindsight and blame when it was the * admin? Now that criticism is being leveled at local and state officials (which in some cases it should be) it's open season. These people will do anything and say anything to keep their beautiful asses out of the fire. It's not going to work this time though.

7. Yeah I heard this one too. "IT's not a federal issue. It's state."...

I didn't understand this argument. So the SOS, the calls for aid, the many recommended projects and subsequent denials.... these AREN'T requests for help from the feds?

Does it really take a fucking' genius to realize that they need help whether the use specific language "Please help us, we need your assistance."? It's so fucking lame and wrong.

I hate Freeps more every day.

NOTE: They also blame Blanco because..........well because she's a Dem of course.

9. The National Guard,
which would have been put on alert in all 3 states BEFORE this disaster happened is in IRAQ. End of story.

There is no excuse for it.
