Shouldn't the people trapped in NO be getting ANTIBIOTICS |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 03:05 PM by DoYouEverWonder
A lot of people are basically trapped in New Orleans and our government is not allowing them to leave. In the meantime, most of them have not had clean water or food for 5 days now and there is no sanitation.
Water born diseases are a serious threat right now and I'm no MD but wouldn't pre-treating these people with antibiotics or whatever be a good idea at the moment?
If we make enough noise maybe we can save a few more lives.

2. What happened with that big convoy that went in? |
|
I saw a lot of stuff going in but haven't heard about anything coming out.
They seemed to be bringing in stuff for the long haul rather then just staging people in order to get them out, this seems strange?

3. Do they have food and water yet? |
|
and insulin for the diabetics among them?
When they have these, then let's worry about antibiotics.

6. With the sewage and the bodies all over the place |
|
Anti-Biotics are as important now as food and water. What good is it to save people if they are going to die from Typhoid, Malaria, or Cholera later.

But of course, Bush and Co couldn't imagine that something like this could happen.

11. Didn't you hear FEMA's Arabian Brown? |

Dead bodies aren't a health risk! Stupid liberals! Cholera and typhoid are caused by BLACK people, so you can blame all of the diseases on them. (okay, I made that last part up, but you KNOW that's what he's thinking). This guy is a tool and a traitor to my country.
My mother the nurse went absolutely bonkers over that one...

you will not see anything being done. Secrecy and ass covering are the orders of the day from this point forward. Don't be suprised if those poor people are ever allowed to leave there. Where is the city media? I haven't seen them all day.

They had this big photo op this morning with the convoy rolling in and then nothing. You would think this would be the top story?
