The antiwar movement has a new argument:
The antiwar movement has a new argument: WHAT IN IRAQ IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MISSISSIPPI AND LOUISIANA?

Who wrote that stuff?

Pat Buchanan. Remember him? Hyperconservative once upon a time candidate for president. Even he could do a better job than this.

1. Pat Buchanan keeps making sense on some issues...
he's giving Bush hell from the far right.

2. Or for that matter...
"we didn't lose a major American city because of 'turrism', but we did lose New Orleans from a Hurricane and sheer negligence."

3. The Iraq War is now destroying cities here in America (like in Iraq)
It's not just for Islamiacs anymore.
We've wreaked this kind of destruction on the cities and towns of Mesopotamia, it's just that most of those places don't compare to the size of an American city like New Orleans. And they're far away. And the media doesn't cover the human catastrophe over there.

But now it's Americans starving and dehydrated, without medicine, without the protection of laws...

This is what it looks like America, this is what you're doing to Iraq day in day out. What you've done there for 2 years solid.

How would you feel about a foreign country, an alien culture that came to your home and inflicted NOLA conditions on your cities and people?
