Carrollton Ave. and Pritchard Place, accross the street from the Notre Dame Seminary. My friend, who is missing, lives accorss the street (on Pritchard) from that house. Mostly working class/student renters in that neighborhood. Not afluent like Blitzer said.

There was this guy who sold tamales from a cart in front of the old K&B/Canal Villere at the corner of Claiborne. He ended up living with me for a while (Carrollton/Panola), then he squatted a vacant house on the street behind the shopping center (forget its name) so his daughter could live with him.

Not even Leslie ("Wolf"'s real name) could possibly describe this guy as "affluent". What a prick.

where my family has lived for six decades and still lives, across from st. rita's. I will never have another home. It's devastating to see this happen to our city, our neighborhood. my grandfather's house is gone, my uncle's house is gone but we'll recover. new orleans is stronger than this. the people who carry our great culture in their hearts will not be stopped from rebuilding it.
