So Hastert didn't want to rebuild New Orleans? Well IMO, after being under water for 80 days, parts of the city will be uninhabitable. The houses in the 9th ward will have to be bulldozed.

But it should be rebuilt - and at a higher elevation. And the taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill. The bastards who were against and voted against the funding for the Corps of Engineers' plans should pay for it. Hell, I bet Cheney could pay for a whole street!
