Shep. Smith (on edit) fantastic job on what I heard - didn't hear all. |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 07:49 PM by Lori Price CLG
He is arguing furiously w. Bill O'Lie-y on the air. O'Lie-y: "You sound a little bitter, Shepard." Smith: "No, I am just saying that all things are not equal here in New Orleans. That's a fact." (something like that)
Note: I did not hear his entire report, but he did sound pretty angry w. the lack of response/rescue efforts.

2. Umm, actually he just got through saying that the mayor of new orleans |
|
let some white tourists "cut in line" to get on an evacuation bus. Both he & O'lielly are blaming the mayor and the governor big time for everything from incompetence to racism.

4. My problem is Shep saying the NOLA mayor was the one who ordered |
|
the tourists to go first. Because it's on Faux, I have to question whether the mayor really did order any such thing. Also, it really sounds as if Faux News is setting up the mayor and the Governor to take all the blame.

9. Yes, it was pathetic. But, Shep. Smith is raging about people being |
|
locked in the Superdome. Smith is raging vs. the government, on the air and is arguing w. Sean Hannity on the air. Lori Price

11. Lori, I believe you now!!! Just watched a little more FAUX with |
|
Shep & Geraldo and they are both BLAZING MAD at the way things are going. Both of them, interrupting Hannity, not letting him try to spin this in a positive way, FURIOUS with the lack of help.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Wow.
Wonder how much longer they'll be working for Faux.

"bitter" in there..it's one of those words that tries to put the guilt on the speaker instead of what he's talking about.
