The Mendocino, CA Chapter (#116) of Veterans for Peace has joined the Louisiana Activist Network on the corner of Tyler and 28th Street in Covington, LA where we have opened up a soup kitchen and medical station in a public park.

3. Yes. IMO they are purpsely trying to push people into a state of

unrest that justifies martial law. They are also in many ways exaggerating the problem of "lawlessness" and looting -- not that it's not happening, it's just that the reporters almost to a person have gone out of their way to point out at the civic center and the super dome that the people are NOT unruly, etc.

Also, the report of a sniper firing at a helicopter was rfefuted by the woman in charge of all air traffic in the area:

This concern is, IMO, GREATLY exaggerated, but I've read that Sheperd Smith reported that they'd been locked INTO the convention center. I am not sure which link it was in:
