I haven't been able to watch CNN regularly due to my work schedule, so I hadn't seen any of her broadcasts since she was describing conditions at the Superdome and in the 9th Ward. I must say, I was impressed because she had picked up on how serious things were, quite early on -- and wasn't afraid to say so. I was worried when I didn't see her on air -- in case she'd been "disciplined" by the management for nearly crying when she described hearing all those people pleading for help,as it got dark, and the searchers had to stop. (Or worse, that she'd succumbed to fatigue or illness from being surrounded by contaminated water all day.)
She -- and Anderson Cooper -- and the other woman whose name I forget, who grew up near Gulfport. They've done an extraordinary job.

Either yesterday or the one before. Saw roadside interview. Said that lack of power was pushing them out- streaming off car batteries. Jeanne was in ballcap, shades, tanktop looking totally cool.
