If I hear it's hard work, or they're working hard, one more time,
my head is going to explode.

Whether it's the Iraq war, or helping the evacuees in New Orleans, everything is hard work. It's like as long as he define something as hard work, he thinks people will give him a pass on how badly he screws everything up

One of the emperor's favorite phrases, as if just because it's hard work, or they're working hard makes everything OK. It's not the quantity or difficulty of the mission, it's how well it's performed. He just doesn't get it. :banghead:

1. well, the rescue workers and aid people are doing very hard work
in terrible conditions. Do not let Bush's failings reflect upon the thousands of workers and volunteers doing their best

7. Agree with you, no criticism for the volunteers and rescue workers
I am in awe of them. Just pointing out that's his favorite excuse whenever he won't take responsibility for HIS failures as Commander-in-Chief.

3. How the hell would he even know
what hard work really is, anyway? He's never done an honest day's work in his life. Why should he, he's always had poppy's money to fall back on. He reminds me of a poster I used to have on my wall in college. It was a picture of three cats staring hard at something in the distance. The caption underneath read "Work fascinates me. I could start at it for hours."

I keep wondering when one of the talking head shills are going to notice the entire photo op wasa rerun of the Iraq War speeches.

8. You gotta remember
that GWB never had to do ANY "hard work" while growing up, thus ANY amount to actual labor is beyond his comprehension.
