John Kerry and John Edwards
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 10:34 PM by ...of J.Temperance
Right this moment, I wish they were in the WH. I don't think they'd have let a MAJOR CITY slowly DIE for going on 6 days :(

The MONSTER thats squatting in the WH needs to GO and SOON. He should be dragged out of there and fucking tarred and feathered. I HATED the bastard before, but after this, my HATE for him has gone TOTALLY off the radar.

This COMPLETE waste of human skin, has DELIBERATELY let a CITY DIE. AN ENTIRE CITY. A gorgeous, friendly, lively, mysterious GEM of a city just die before our eyes. I can NEVER as long as I live EVER forgive this act of INCREDIBLE criminality. I want the MONSTER to pay DEARLY for this, AND there's only ONE fitting way he can pay...and you can probably guess what I'm thinking because I'm sure an awful lot of other people are thinking the same thing.

IT has GOT to be the Devil himself squatting in the WH.

I cannot believe what's happened, it's a TOTAL shell-shocking situation and the Monster cannot be allowed to get away with this.

For the first time in days, I've just watched a bit of TV and I watched Aaron Brown. He had two black girls on, that the Monster hugged today and they were portrayed as two regular Biloxi folk from the storm. I'm sorry, but it was propaganda, they were brought in props I think...these two girls DIDN'T have Mississippi accents, they DIDN'T even have SOUTHERN accents...were they South African or something? It was DISGUSTING and there's people eating up this bullshit AGAIN from Fatty Rove the Traitor? It's beyond sick.

Now they're lining up to blame Governor Blanco. She's done a STUNNING job with the limited resources that she's had available to her. What the FUCK do they expect her to do? She can't do any more than she's been doing. And these disgusting pig fuckers are going to try and make her the scapegoat. People need to rally round her and protect her, because she's GOING to be Swift Boated for sure.

For the last six days, I've thought, WHY couldn't we catch a break just for ONCE? WHY couldn't John Kerry and John Edwards have squashed the fucking Monster thats squatting in the WH?

SOMEBODY needs to end this, SOMEBODY needs to come in and bring back HOPE and COMPASSION for ALL of our fellow human beings. Because the MONSTER is NOT just killing an ENTIRE CITY, he's going to try and KILL our SOULS next

But it's not going to happen. We don't need him. Bush is utterly insignificant. He's not a man, he's just a mass of putrid flesh.

Actually DISGUSTING FILTHY PIG who is married to a MONSTER! Laura bush is a MONSTER. She sits by and watches while babies die, watches while newborn babies are separated from their parents, watches while the sick and elderly die from dehydration, would she want her elderly parents treated in such a manner? AND HER DISGUSTING FILTHY PIG OF A HUSBAND IS COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE! HE NEEDS TO BE INDICTED, IMPEACHED AND THROWN IN PRISON FOR THE REST OF HIS MISERABLE LIFE! I AM SO PISSED! :grr:

2. Haliburton already has a no-bid contract
To rebuild a portion of what Katrina destroyed. Watch them profit from what the neglect of George Bush helped destroy.
He doesn't get it. It's about the humanity, stupid! Let that be the mantra of the impeachment.

They will find a way to make a profit out of this. Halliburton no-bid contracts will fleece whats left of America.

I'm going to Washington the 23rd. Bought my airline tickets a couple of weeks ago. $108 each round trip. I checked the rate today and it had increased to $268 round trip.

I feel a riot coming on in Washington on September 24th.
We need to storm the WH and Capital and take our country back!!!!

14. I think you are correct. I'm stil trying to figure why he capitulated so
fast. Perhaps he realized if he won, he still lost. He would have had a hostile Congress that would work to pin 4 years of mismanagement on him. Maybe he just felt the timing wasn't right. Or maybe he wanted to see the change happen from the bottom up.....we have to wrest Congress from these criminals in 2006....not sure we can take much more of this type of government..

38. Know what......that's exactly what I think.
Something changed, overnight, in his attitude. No one spends months and months campaigning, getting charged up by the crowds that were 100% behind his candidacy - any just drops it. He knew that they'd try to steal it - and he was ready to fight that, I think. He knew they were a bunch of crooks and thugs...he said as much. I don't think they could make him personally afraid....but that would be the one real vulnerability he'd have.

We're talking bilions of dollars and high crimes at stake in this election......I'm positive they got to him.

We still haven't found the anthrax prps....

11. Yes he needs to be stopped
I am livid that they are now blaming Gov Blanco. My conservative friend today was chastising me for blaming bush and I asked him why any reasonable person would expect the city of NO and the state of LA to take care of this catastrophe without federal aid. What is the role of a government if not to care for its neediest citizens? To deny that responsibility is heartless. Bush should fry for his neglect.

27. How about somebody starts blaming Mike Foster too?
Governor Blanco's not been in office long. How long was that waste of space Foster in, if they want to blame Blanco, then I think somebody needs to start blaming him TOO. Most of the time, instead of looking after Louisiana, he was messing about duck hunting, riding his Harley and doing two radio shows.

Oh but I forgot, you CAN'T blame Foster too, 'cos he's a Republican and the rules are different for them, they NEVER do ANYTHING wrong.

19. Without a doubt, Kerry/Edwards would not have allowed this
to get so out of control. Plans would have already been in place and the Department of Homeland Security would actually be doing its job correctly-protecting the homeland.
Instead we have a man in the White House who thinks being President means you delegate responsibility, blame everyone else for your negligence and do photo-ops.

Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 11:29 PM by ultraist
The fascist George Bush has sent us all a message by murdering THOUSANDS of Black people through holding back rescue operations/supplies and that is: to be afraid.

We have been forewarned. Moreover, THOUSANDS of people have been killed in our own country, by our own government while we all watched.

This incident of holding back rescue efforts, is Bush's version of Hitler's "ovens."

Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 12:02 AM by ...of J.Temperance
They know that the media are NOT our friends. I've noticed this time and time again. Sometimes the whores get a little restless with their Pimp in the WH, so they get all hot under the collar and shout at him now and then.

BUT as SOON as a member of the Democratic Party jumps in and starts beating up on Shit-fer-Brains too...the whores IMMEDIATELY start savaging them and saying "you're making it political" "you're just playing politics aren't you?"

You know we're in a Catch-22 with these vipers. In short, they hate us.

But I'm not saying they have to play Republicans and Democrats, just express some general outrage publicly. The time will come to make this a political issue and it's not now. I just hope someone in the party has the stones to make it a political issue when that time comes. I have my doubts.

The water's drained and the suffering are somewhere safe. That'll be the time and I want this Monster slashed to ribbons, I want him GUTTED and hung up like a hog.

Like you, I have my doubts that the party will have the balls to do this. I CONTINUOUSLY live in hope, but I try and stay in reality about the possibility.

The Monster is a classic bully and he needs to to treated as what he is. A bully can only operate as long as nobody confronts him. As SOON as you stand up to a bully, the bully crumbles and runs away forever...because bullies are 24-ct cowards, with a capital C.

Stand up to this bully, would by my advice to the party.

He just got back yesterday, been there for a week. I don't know what his plans are as to Katrina. I'm also pretty sure they would do whatever Blanco and Landrieu asked them to. I think those two southern Dems may FINALLY understand that there really is a difference between Democrats and Republians and that Republicans really DON'T care about the people. If we could get a few more in the south to pull their heads out, including some right here on DU, maybe we could start to kick a little ass.

34. Edwards as President Candidate 08
I'm sure Edwards is looking at this mess as an opportunity. I'm from NC and believe me, the guy is as opportunistic as they come.

Would I rather have him in WH? Yes, but he's no saint. He supported the Iraq War, for God's sake, and also the Patriot Act.

David Brooks, on The News Hour tonight, suggested this, because of Edwards focus on poverty, might elevate him to front-runner as POTUS candidate in 08. He also said he thinks Bush has done a TERRIBLE job with the disaster management. I think the moderate Repukes are getting ready to jettison Bush for fear of 06 elections. Brooks was talking Guiliani (sp?) would win in a landslide if primaries were held tomorrow.

Maybe Kerry couldn't go personally, but wouldn't it be great if Edwards got on a big campaign bus with that same slogan and led a caravan down there and fucking DEMANDED to be let in to take in food and water?

FEMA keeps saying "help is on the way" and it isn't -- at least that slogan would do some good in the long run if they turned it into a progressive movement to save NOLA....

Gore organized the flights himself, paid for them himself, and would have been there earlier this week except he couldn't get FEMA clearance.

43. I agree - only SATAN could do this much damage.
When you look back at how the US was in the 1990's: relatively at peace, great economy, unemployment down, poverty down, crime down, abortions down, a budget surplus and expected to pay off the entire national debt by 2012.

Now look at us today. It will only get worse.

But - at least we don't think Bush is getting blow-jobs in the oval office - and he has a meek, non-threatening wife, and he is a "good ole boy" not some Rhodes Scholar rubbing his superior intelligence in all of our faces, so he must be a better President - Right???

I'm sooo pissed off at every Republican I know who voted for this bastard! I want a bumper sticker - Don't blame me - I voted for Gore and Kerry!!
