I'm not saying that there isn't any violence going on in NOLA, but it seems to me that by constantly harping on the violence and of course, the ever popular rw talking point "they were told to evacuate", the rw is succeeding in demonizing the victims. Typical Rove.

Not a mother who lost a son in Iraq.
Not thousands of poor black people stranded and left behind.
I can handle them beating up on the Clintons or Michael Moore: they're big boys and girls and can take care of themselves, but to attack the most vulnerable in our society is just despicable.

fresh air and decent sleep, they are forcing these people over the edge. When the riots break out, THEY will be blamed.

A * freak at work piped up about the looters, "They should be shot on sight." I told her if The Chimp's friends hadn't looted the treasury to pay for their yachts, etc. NOLA might not be in the situation it is in. I aske her how come Republicans are o.k. with people like Kenny Boy looting all of California to the tune of hundreds of millions but it's not o.k. when a Black man in NOLA takes a t.v. that's probably covered by business insurance?
