...looks into Shrub's photo-op filled trip today and reports on the costs and diverted resources that took from the rescue and recovery efforts.

Also, if Air Force One and Marine One wasn't packed to the rafters with water, food and supplies for all those trips today someone needs to scream it with a bullhorn. If that asshat travelled in luxury while hunting for photo-ops it's one more outrage.

1. My family is alive in Biloxi!!!

Today! Today! I finally found out my family is alive!

They are scattered but I finally have contact and am taking food tomorrow but must meet with someone to get in. Unless you have an id from mississippi you can not go into the town. We have no gas in our city for the car but had some saved up and we are using it to travel about 2 hours get food to them and then come back.

I am from Louisiana originally and many people living here are from there too. We have lots of people from NO here who evacuated. We are livid about the incompetence of this administration. My husband. who is Republican, is finally going insane!!! This appears to be genocide. We can't fathom what is going on in the heads of anyone associated with the president, including Laura Bush!!!!

We were told today, from a fellow Louisianian that their friends, who are well off, loaded up their boat with supplies, etc. to take to the people in need and gun shots kept them from going in. I do think it was the national guard, strategically placed. I don't know this for sure, but it is so suspicious. Later, if needed, I can give their phone numbers. The are from NO and have many family members who have evacuated here.
