we think shep is doing a great job!

and I'm not even going to say things like "it's the first reporting you've ever done"(which I think)........ because they would throw that away.... I'm simply writing he is doing a great job of real emotional reporting

9. Shep doesn't deserve to be at Fox. Meaning Fox doesn't deserve him at all.

3. This is what happens when you escape fairy land and get a dose of
REALITY!! I think they have done a fabulous job...knowing it rubs 99.9% of their viewers the wrong way

4. it is unbelievable
I have to say that I found Geraldo a little grandstanding (grabbing the babies I think was part sincere and a little theater), but I thin Shep would have punched Sean threw the camera if he could have

5. geraldo...
may be a horrible reporter, in sense of semantics, but he has a huge heart, as evidenced by the compassion he wore on his sleeve... he (and shep) gets my "hero" tag today.

7. I never watch FOX, but I'm glad I did today!
They were great! And I for one can use any sliver of hope that might be out there, especially in all the unexpected places.......god I hope it lasts!

I think it a great idea to write in thanks to these people. I'm too tired now, but I thought about posting a thread for everyone to contribute names and emails of reporters, writers, anchors that they have been pleased with regarding Katrina and the aftermath.

8. I haven't been watching FOX, and haven't been on DU most...
...of the day, just sporadically. Are they actually doing some real reporting for once?

10. "Are they actually doing some real reporting for once?" Hell no.
Are there any facts in this thread? Not really.
They are appealling to emotion while showing images of the Military Cavalry arriving with bush in a chopper in the distance.
They used the word cavalry.
The cavalry isn't known for saving lives.
If they were, Florence Nightengale wouldn't have a clame to fame.

Geraldo's photo op was as fake as bush's.

Notice Shep was placed in absolute opposition against Hannity; a member of an exclusively-fox-viewing person's apostolic philosophical role-models brigade.

11. The fact is, I really hate those guys
But you can't deny the humanity in their reporting. It may have started out as a photo-op but when they hit the ground what they saw could not be denied. Are you watching the same clip as everyone else? It's at Crooks and Liars.
