Free Republic's shame is out there for the world to see. |
|
I just emailed a reporter whose email address I had who'd written a piece that compared freerepublic.com to dailykos.com. I wrote him to point out some critical and revealing differences between rightwing sites (such as Newsmax and freerepublic.com) and liberal sites such as democraticunderground.com and dailykos.com.
As it has been pointed out here at DU a number of times over the past couple of days, FR has NO donations link on their site. Neither does Newsmax. Power Line Blog only has a small, non-graphical link at the bottom of their right hand side column. Compare that to the "Liberal Blogosphere relief fund drive" and the resources avaialble at DU. Also, as I told the reporter, compare the posts being made on those sites. One word to compare: Compassion. Also, I rhetorically asked him, why does 90% of the posts made on FR RE: Katrina would be considered by 85% of the country as racist?

3. Someday, I hope we can all point to that say and say that that is a |

hate site. They should be ashamed of the ignorance and anti-socialist attitudes that they have. They don't understand real community. They are a collection of loners/malcontents/dead-enders who can't relate to people. Think about it....could FR ever muster a dozen people to do something, other than to maybe go out to dinner?

5. The Reporter must have said something to Free Republic....... |
|
I see they put a link up for donating to Katrina. It was put up there tonight. I was wondering why they put it up seeing how they could give a Rats-Ass about America. Doubt if anyone there even used the link.

...they're white, racist, hate-mongering, Pat Robertson-worshiping, lonely WANKERS, the absolute WORST America has to, um...offer. Fucking embarrassments - and they ARE a hate site..."BY DEFINITION".
Rejoice: They're "THE OLD AMERICA". Fuck 'em.

when someone posted a message saying he really felt betrayed by Bush's horrible leadership during the aftermath of Katrina, and said poster got suspended almost immediately.
