Anyone heard how the cable news ratings have been this week?
Watching Aaron Brown, Jack Cafferty, Anderson Cooper and Solidad O'Brien today convinces me CNN has made a decision to become a hard edged news organization again (well, if you factor Larry King out of that picture).

If their ratings are good we may see this continue.

Anyone hear how they are doing?

2. you are too easy
one event and suddenly everything has changed?

see if they follow through?

Incidently, even FOX was trashing the mishandling

I saw Cooper defending the media on Iraq when asked by Bill Maher why they weren't as critical. The excuse he used was that they were told their were WMDs what were they to do? uhhhh, maybe look for OTHER VIEWPOINTS COOPER

Anyway, I need more than ONE event to convience me that they will start doing their job

3. oh for sure
One event doesn't mean anything. But if the reporting this week translates into rating translates into $$$, they just might keep it up

4. Being out on the street makes all the difference.
What went wrong with IRaq was they got too cozy with the administration. Relied on double super secret sources within the corridors of power and didn't listen to the people on the front lines with the knowledge of what was really going on.
