ONLY FOX has LIVE coverage of the Katrina disaster |
|
starting at five a.m. Central time this morning. The other two all-news cable networks are re-airing programs from last night.
Just thought many of you would like to know this if you are interested in learning what is happening NOW down there.
I apologize if this is not the correct format for LBN, and I can't provide a link to a story about this fact; but it seemed important to get this word out.

The choices are FOX and CNN Headline News (which is mostly canned snippets).

3. Unfortunately, that's the way it is most weekends |
|
Fox is certainly ahead of the other networks on the weekends.

5. It's tough to watch Faux News |
|
It took O'Reilly just a matter of minutes before he blamed Clinton for the nightmare in NO, and I was just flipping.

6. Doubt you're checking back on this thread |
|
but last night I watched O'Reilly just long enough to catch what he was doing on this story, and he was lining up his "experts" and then literally *trapping* them into saying it was all Gov. Blanco's fault! They clearly were NOT comfortable with his conclusion, but he kept at it until he hedged them into saying "right" to his summation. TWISTED MAN.
Oh, and he did manage to put SOME of the blame on Clinton, too, about not having gotten those levees fixed sooner. If Clinton didn't fix them, then Bush could not be blamed for not fixing them either! I swear his logic gear has slipped even further than usual!

7. This morning CNN was live... |
|
Soledad was by some helicopters, her hair was in a ponytail....sorry, LOL, that's all I remember--I was up all night and it was about 8 in the morning.
Wouldn't be surprised if they've now gone to 'weekend news' (meaning, shit reruns, boring newsmagazines,no real/new news at all).
