If not for the war the hurricane...
...wouldn't be on TV at all. Trying to keep Robinson's nomination, Rove's treasonous leaks, and the war out of the news is the only thing that keeps the hurricane on the front page with continuos coverage. The war also allows the hurricane coverage to be truthful rather than veiled.

The MSM focuses on "looting" of those trying to SURVIVE and the lawlessness of a small minority getting so much coverage for so long. What would news coverage be if other distractions were not needed. How much of the truth of the slow response would be told?
