... high-stakes job, either. Director of the International Arabian Horse Association, which he eventually mismanaged into penury--the IAHA was so broke by the time they kicked him out, it had to merge with another horse group.
Before that, I think he was a Republican staffer in the Oklahoma legislature.
Neither this guy nor Joe Allbaugh had any disaster experience--except perhaps for creating them....

... he's a buddy of Allbaugh's. Allbaugh brought him on as general counsel when Bush threw out Jamie Lee Witt and installed Allbaugh, who's a longtime Bush crony. Allbaugh and Brown, according to TPM, were college buddies.
