1. I sure do fear for survival in Bush's America. |
|
That is why I moved up to rural Northern Ontario. The further away from the border the better. I have tons of wood, water at my back door, land for growing veggies. Getting chickens because the cost of gas is going to put America in anarchy and revolt. Lost jobs, no food .. Some heads of families will not sit bye and "take it". I am American born, Canadian by choice. I voted the first time in my life in 2004 in the presidential election. My candidate, Kerry, lost. THe only way America can survive is to get sane, honest people running the government. Is there serious action in doing a RECALL on Bush? He certainly should be IMPEACHED, but his whole cabinet and henchmen should all be banished from controlling the once greatest country in the world. Living in Canada, reading other world news, I see the USA government is no longer respected or trusted. We see the little dictator W has no clothes.

since July of 2001 actually.... now I feel I may have no choice.....
No permanent job, no health care, no money. I want to try and stick it out but I'm afraid of these things killing me first.

then. I was too young to realize what was happening at the time, although RFK's funeral is one of my earliest memories. :evilfrown:
Not in my lifetime since have I felt the way I do now about the future of our country.

7. You know, when I got the "message from on high" that ** would get us into |

the worst war we'd ever seen, I thought it meant nuclear WWIII. NOW I am starting to think it will be another civil war. And if it will be worse than the last one with its 618,000 death toll we are in big trouble.

I knew they would never give up power if they got it and they got it and we are getting it in the back side.
I want my country back!
And the democrat party is not the answer we need.

14. as a Dem in Texas I have spoken many times of the chill that came over me |
|
when I wondered why someone as stupid, incompetent and lazy as bush would want to be governor and then it hit me - they were gonna run him for president; I will never forget the sick feeling I got and it deepened when they stole the election

13. I lived through the 60's |

and thanks to a then-free press the real stories were getting to the people and the people responded (usually in a decent values-driven way). It's not happening now and the military-industrial complex is drunk with power and can, will and has used it to quash any resistance.
