You know what? It might get through to some people.

What if...

No one in current Admin didn't show up in New York until September 16, 2001?

Only a handful of NY firefighters rushed to the NY Trade Center Towers because they had to plan a strategy?

Only a handful of DC fire fighters rushed to the Pentagon because they had to plan a strategy?

Bush flew over NYC in AF One on September 14, 2001?

Condi had shopped on Rodeo Drive on September 15, 2001?

Bush said "My friend lost his house here in New York but I can see a beautiful thing rising up in a year. I can see myself sitting on the front porch."

What if...

All of this were true? Would Bush still be President today?

There is need of money in the southern United States now more than ever. Families that may never be able to return home are now wandering aimlessly seeking food, shelter, clothing, water and medical attention. Children crying in hunger, thirst and fright.

Please take a moment now and stuff a $1.00 bill into an envelope and send it to the American Red Cross with a note that reads: For Hurricane Katrina Victims.

$1.00 is all I ask. If one million Americans send $1.00 that will make One Million Dollars. Please, pass this on and have others do the same.

1. I think he would still be President
Those who support him are not smart enough to see the forest for the trees.

2. Also, those who support Bush tend to LOATH blacks...they
believe that Katrina's victims are getting what they deserve by staying behind. Again if the folks were white instead of black they would get far more compassion from the party of compassionate conservatism.

The dailykos had a link to a blog maintained by the Wichita Eagle (from Wichita KS) and the comments were hateful!!

A director where I work really believes that people CHOSE to stay behind because they wanted to loot New Orleans! He's a hard right Bushie I should add, but I've also heard similar comments from those who pulled the lever for Kerry in November.

4. Will we Never Be Free of Racism
It is such a horrible way to think. I will never understand that mentality and obviously they will never understand ours!
