Who is this jerk?
Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 09:56 AM by sunnystarr

The CNN guy on the left. He was questioning the criticism about response time in NO ... "Here we have a governor who didn't ask for Federal Troops until Wednesday ...."

We need to correct the calculated deliberate misinformation, organized to cover the ass of this pathetic administration.

3. The attack machine is operating at full capacity
After the mayor was so publicly critical of the federal response, they're turning the fire hose on him. I've never seen such a blatant example of media bias.

4. Didn't ask for help until Wednesday?
Aside for the evidence to the contrary, this statement is just ridiculous. She is a smart person (unlike those that believe the RW spin machine), why would she wait so long? She wouldn't, and she didn't. Besides, why would FEMA allow people to die, even if the gov didn't ask for assistance?

8. Fact is -
they knew in advance that this storm was coming, they knew where it was going to hit, they knew it was going to be bad. The troops and relief efforts should have been in place before the son of a bitch even came ashore. And these pond scum assholes know that. Bush is in serious shit, and the media whores aren't going to bail his ass out , this time -

6. And Landieu was prattling on about how we shouldn't be placing blame now.
See this? The Republicans don't waste ANY time placing blame. They'll blame their political opponents every time- whether they're actually at fault or not.

This lie that O'Brien repeated is coming from right-wing media groups.

This is why it's NEVER too early to point fingers at the actual culprits.

10. Yes! I nearly destroyed my TV set when
O'Brien started in about how the Democrats would play politics with this and hinting how wrong that would be. When the GOP has used 9-11 and Iraq for political gain every way they can. Even to the point of criticism being unpatriotic! Astounding!

9. The Governor declared a disaster on Friday.
She asked for troops on Sunday And Monday. And TUESDAY. AND WEDNESDAY!

Bush didn't respond until Thursday - he was too busy eating cake.
