Even when they TRY to point out classism and racism, they reveal their own prejudice. McCafferty and Blitzer, when doing voice overs of the people floating, struggling in the water, said: "These people are SOOO poor, and SOOO black."

I call it like I see it. It's racism pure and simple. I never heard anyone called "refugees" in any other hurricane that lost their homes.If I was in that situation,I sure as hell wouldn't want to be called a refugee. This isn't just for blacks to do. It's about justice and humanity. At some point in history, every group has been marginalized. White Irish were discriminated against, famously, in this very country, though many of their descendants are now part of the ruling class. Women have almost without exception been treated as slaves and servants throughout history in every country. And we must reject discrimination and inhumanity WHEREVER IT OCCURS.

It's not just about black people, it's not for the black community or the Black Panthers to solve - it's for all of us, as AMERICANS to solve. But it's not even that small. I think a lot of people on this board are now expressing openly their solidarity with people in Venezuela and Iraq and Cuba and other 'evil' nations because so many are awake to this. It's not just America. It's about being HUMAN and about COMPASSION.

We should ALL march. When they can't divide us, it will be much more difficult for them to conquer us.
