Thinking of any response to any disaster.
There have been many 3rd world disasters which were responded to by 1st and 2nd world nations (Is there such a thing?) faster than this one in NOLA. And there have been plenty of 3rd world disasters that were totally ignored by everyone.

inspectors in, to their supplying tens of thousands of documents relating to their DEFENSE CAPABILITIES, their cutting up of missiles that flew 15 miles too far for our liking, and more. We responded to that just fine.... then again, THEY HAVE HUGE OIL RESERVES. They are "important".
