Channel surf and watch the lack of leadership continue

Was channel surfing the cable news channels. On Faux, you have Geraldo, extolling the wonders of all these people being evacuated from the Convention Center. It's wonderful, it wonderful!

Flip to CNN where Soledad O'Brian is reporting that all these people from the Convention Center are being brought into the airport, the sick being triaged, and the rest are just being left to wander around the airport. She said that this was trouble getting ready to happen.

Geraldo was talking to a doctor from one of the hospitals who is at the Convention Center, putting out a call for anyone with medical experience to come down and help triage everyone there. He didn't know what was happening on the other end of the evacuation and wanted to know where they were being evacuated to. Geraldo only knew they were taking them to the airport. Evidently, no one has thought any further about what to do with them after they get them out of the Convention Center.

This is just ludicrous. I'm sick.

1. The Overall Command Center is supposed to have all agencies rep'd

with FEMA at the Head....it is their money and power to get things done...right.

Fema is head by Brown, a crony to Bush....no experience, no knowledge.

2. I'm so angry about this...

It's been 4 years since our eyes were opened by 9/11. Everyone agreed that we needed to address our security issues here at home. And this is all we've received for all this time, money and loss of life???

And the politicos are all still backslapping and congratulating themselves. It's disgusting!
