The American people gave plenty of money for "nails" for the people of NO, but bush wasted it.

If all the federal homeland-security grants from last year (2003) are added together, Wyoming received $61 a person while California got just $14, according to data gathered at TIME's request by the Public Policy Institute of California, an independent, nonprofit research organization. Alaska received an impressive $58 a resident, while New York got less than $25. On and on goes the upside-down math of the new homeland-security funding.

3. Wyoming? What disaster could justify that kind of money
over other states like Louisiana or California? Oops, my bad, they are BLUE states, never mind.

I knew this fact before, and its understandable.

It's Uncka Dick's "official" home state (right after he move from Texas in the summer of 2000 when that whole pesky constitutional thingmie came up).:sarcasm:

6. Wyoming has fewer than a half-million people.
I'm sure there might still be some unfair discrepancy there, but in the interest of fairness, the fact that it has the smallest population of any state might have something to do with it.

7. They are talking per capita
WY has less than 500,000 so obviously the amount per person will be greater than, say, NY where New York City alone has 8 million.
