"shame on you Greta for now totally forgetting about Natalee...."
Un-fucking-believable. This is an email response to Greta Van Susteren on Faux News' web site. I found it while following the link to this poll: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,168286,00.html#poll

Shame on you, Greta for now totally forgetting about Natalee. Seems you couldn't get enough of her when you were having a "slow" news time. Now that something bigger has happened you can't even give her storyline (one that you have reported nightly for a VERY long time) five minutes. You are only interested in doing whatever the big news is about at the time... shame on you for totally forgetting about something you once claimed was important! While I am in agreement that your news now should be about the aftermath of Katrina you still should give Natalee five minutes of your time.

Angela

3. One of many mentally-ill Faux viewers...
I would venture the guess that Angela has National Enquirers bundled and stacked to the ceiling in her house.

7. Maybe they can turn to Rita Cosby on MSNBC
She kept her butt in Aruba until Thursday and was still reporting breathlessly all about "Natalee Holloway" as late as Wednesday night. Unbelievable. But who does MSNBC have anchoring four hours of their primetime coverage this weekend? Not the excellent Keith Olbermann, but the horrid Rita Cosby.

8. You said it, Midnight.
And Greta's blog got me so enraged last week. When she was feeling a bit under fire because Bob Costas was getting so much praise from some quarters for having refused to host Larry King's show on a night he learned was going to be devoted mostly to Natalee Holloway, she responded by belittling Costas and his understanding of news (he's JUST a sportscaster after all, you know!), hyping her own qualifications as an ex-attorney, and claiming that the crisis of missing people is an EPIDEMIC in America and that something HAS to be done to stop it and that her reporting was appreciated VERY, VERY, VERY much by everyone who was trying to find Natalee.

Now, all of a sudden, reporting on Natalee isn't getting so much in the way of big ratings. In fact, it looks faintly stupid. So Greta finally gets her butt to that bastion of reporters who want to make it LOOK as if they care about the Katrina victims--Houston--and fakes compassion there alongside Rita "Skeeter" Cosby, her sister in cable news infamy.

Neither one is worth the bottle of whatever it is they use to color their hair.

Seems to me as if the supposed "mere sportscasters," like Olbermann and Costas, are some of the best JOURNALISTS we have. What they choose NOT to cover is almost as important as what they choose TO cover, and how.

And I'm real sorry Natalee is missing--she's a person too--but she is ONE person. Just ONE. Her disappearance has been blown out of all importance by the media. It's hard to know, really, whether that email is sincere or it was written just a little too "straight" by someone who was trying to chide Greta and the other TV idiots who have their reporting priorities out of order.

10. Be careful Angela--Your hood is showing
You can't understand why finding one blonde haired beauty pales in comparison to 100,000 missing people?
Hello? Your reality check just bounced.
